Total hole in the wall, greasy spoon spot. The  dining room can use a good cleaning and vacuuming but we didn't eat there, we ordered take out. Always looking for a good spot for salt and pepper fish and this was on point! The rice plate was under $8 and came with plenty of both, could have used a bit more onions and jalapenos but loved the crunch and taste of the fish.

There's pictures on the wall of some of their dishes. Want to try their salt and pepper squid/ calamari. My friends ordered the salt and pepper spareribs and it wasn't as good as the fish. It was lacking flavor and crunch.

Very reasonably priced dishes, rice plates available all day. Closed on Wednesdays

Got take out for the few of us. The salt & pepper pork chops over rice & shredded meat stir fried noodles were ok. If it wasn't for those orders, I would rate 2 stars based on our 3rd dish: house special egg foo young.

The House special Egg Foo Young.
    - First of all, no eggs! Legitimate egg foo young should have approx 5 eggs in the mixture. You're lucky if there's even 1 egg in the one they make here. If you cut it open, all you see is a flour mixture. This resulted in the dish being tougher to chew.
    - 2nd, it's "House Special" which means there's supposed to be a mix of proteins. Most places would make it pork, chicken, and shrimp. All I got were a few baby shrimps, which should make this Shrimp Egg Foo Young.
-3rd, the gravy/sauce. There wasn't much sauce in general over the fried pieces. The dish should be served with a brown gravy. This was served with plainly, oyster sauce. This made it very very salty.

We've eaten here before and other dishes are good. It was just this dish that was very disappointing.

Based on the other good dishes they do make here, we may not stop coming, but at least I know not to order this again.

    Beware: cockroach infestation!

This restaurant has a cockroach infestation. This Sunset food establishment should be red-tagged. Also, bathrooms are beyond disgusting.

My friends and I were craving Chinese food and finally decided on this place to pick up from. Sadly it was pretty disappointing. We ordered orange chicken, beef broccoli, the house fried rice, chow fun, and hot and sour soup. Everything was very bland especially the rice, chow fun, and soup. The orange chicken was soggy and fatty as well. The guy was friendly and portions were big for a good price but still not worth it.

My parents came over for a visit and before we knew it, it was lunchtime! They suggested going to Sunset's Best Seafood Restaurant since they had to meet up someone over there. We walked in on Saturday, August 19th around 1:30pm. It's a fairly small restaurant, but our party of three managed to grab a table in the back by the fish tanks. No wait.

    *Lamb Stew Clay Pot ($10.95)
    *Lobster Yee Mein Noodle ($18.95)
*Pea Shoots / Da Dou Miao
    *Chicken, Tofu, Mushroom Clay Pot

We got a complimentary brothy soup to start with which was very sweet from the carrots. At least for me. Ended up adding some salt and a lot of white pepper to counteract it. My favorite dish was the pea shoots. Though my parents found it a little oily. I love dou miao, so I didn't mind. The clay pots were decent. I can't recall if the chicken one had seafood in it like scallops, etc, but I enjoyed the mushrooms. My parents fav was the lamb pot. They enjoyed the flavor the most, but I'm not a big fan of lamb in this form, so I didn't shared their love of this dish. The lobster noodles were a little disappointing. Not a lot of flavor. I had to add a bunch of hot sauce to it to make it more savory.

Disappointing restaurant for Chinese food. At least it was relatively cheap. Not sure how much the last two dishes were, but our subtotal ended up being $49. Maybe we ordered the wrong things, but I was not impressed.
